• How is College Park different from attending TCC or OSU-Tulsa?

  College Park is an innovative way to successfully complete an associate degree and a bachelor's degree in Tulsa. As a College Park student, you'll start and finish your degree on the OSU-Tulsa campus and move through coursework with support services in place from both TCC and OSU-Tulsa to help you succeed. 

• How do I apply for College Park? 

  You must first apply and be admitted to TCC before submitting your College Park application. If you have questions about the TCC admission process, please contact the TCC Office of Admissions at 918-595-8000. 

• What institution will be listed on my degree? 

  When you complete College Park, you'll earn an associate degree from Tulsa Community College and a bachelor's degree from Oklahoma State University.

• What happens if I decide to transfer out of the program? 

  You'll keep the credits you've completed, and we'll work with you to help continue your path forward. 

• Will I pay tuition and fees for both campuses? 

  As a College Park student, you'll pay TCC tuition and fees while enrolled in TCC courses. Tulsa Achieves can help you complete your TCC courses for the first two or three years with little to no debt. 

   

  You'll pay OSU tuition and fees only while enrolled in OSU-Tulsa coursework (junior-and senior-level courses). There are no additional fees for being a student in the program. Learn about the OSU-Tulsa EDGE Continuation Scholarship. 

• Where will I take classes? 

  Most College Park courses are taught on the OSU-Tulsa campus, including your TCC courses the first two years. 

• How long does the College Park program take to complete?

  Program length is dependent on your major selection and previous college credits. 

• What is the testing requirement?

  There are no additional testing requirements to apply for College Park. However, in order to begin classes, you must be proficient in the areas of reading, writing and math. Proficiency can be determined by high school transcripts, ACT/SAT or GED scores, or any other applicable placement methods.

   

  Although you're encouraged to apply for College Park as early as possible, you may not be fully considered until proficiency requirements have been satisfied.

• What is the selection criteria to be admitted to College Park? 

  Selection is based on several factors, including academic standing, college readiness, ability to participate in the course schedule and commitment to the program based on written application question responses. 
  
  TCC and OSU-Tulsa are committed to increasing access to higher education in Tulsa and achieving equity in outcomes. Applicants demonstrating financial need, first-generation college students and underserved student populations are highly encouraged to apply. 

• Do I need to fill out the FAFSA?

  TCC encourages students to apply for any financial aid for which they may be eligible. However, the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is not required to participate in College Park. Keep in mind, completing the FAFSA ensures you can take advantage of federal financial aid and is usually required when applying for additional scholarships.

   

  If you are filing the FAFSA, use Tulsa Community College's code of 009763. 

   

  If you are not eligible to file the FAFSA, we encourage looking at other scholarship opportunities, including the My Dream/Mi Sueño Scholarship, which is privately funded and available to a graduating high school senior in Tulsa or Rogers County meeting eligibility requirements. It's awarded annually for up to three years or 63-credit hours, whichever comes first.

• Is College Park the right fit for me if I'm currently enrolled in the dual credit program?

  There are several pathways toward degree completion. If you've earned or are in the process of earning credit from college courses or advanced placement exams, contact us  to discuss whether College Park is the right fit for you. Ability to participate in the course schedule is an important factor in joining College Park.

   

  For students who already have college credit or who are currently enrolled at TCC, previous coursework will be evaluated during the application process to see if the schedule is a good fit. 

• How will I be notified if I'm admitted to College Park? 

  All communication regarding your application will be sent to your tulsacc.edu email account, which you create once you apply and are admitted to TCC. Be sure to monitor this account closely, so there's no delay in reviewing your application status.
